Dianna Yao-Garcia
I have been creating art in some form for as long as I can remember. I loved art class in elementary school and later sewing, needlework, crocheting, knitting, and really most any craft. My painting journey began with tole painting. From there I discovered my love for capturing landscapes, still life, and portraits, often from photos I have taken, using oils, acrylics, pastels, and charcoal.
Capturing glimpses of the beautiful world through color, as well as black and white, is so rewarding and enjoyable. I hope to share this through my art.
When I am not painting, I enjoy substitute teaching, spending time with my family, cuddling with my puppy, playing tennis, and reading. Thank you very much for visiting my site. I hope you enjoy my work!
